On April 25, 2009 from 11am to 5pm, we will honor the fascinating life of Mary Jemison in the month that is 251 years after she was taken by Native Americans from Adams County, Pennsylvania. The event is entitled "Remembering Mary Jemison" and it will be held at the St. Simon's Episcopal Church. The venue is located at 200 Cazenovia St. Buffalo, NY 14210. this is not far from Buffum St. the original burial site of Mary.
